As the grass is greening and the bulbs are popping, with the warmth of spring also brings semi-annual inspections from your HOA.
Usually twice a year pesky inspectors walk around your home looking for mold, algae, mildew, rust, oil stains, dingy roofs, flaked paint and stain on decks among other unsightly items around your home. If any of the above are present, you’re sure to receive “nasty gram” giving you a short window of time to remediate their grievance or you will be faced with further fines and sanctions. Worst of all is you may be placed on a “watch list”. This watch list ensures that they will be checking up on you and your “dirty home” more frequently. The horror doesn’t end there, if you’re thinking about selling, most HOAs do a final inspection prior to signing off on HOA docs. This means they will not let you sell your house until it is clean to their standards, yikes.
Beat the inspector and avoid your first “nastygram” by replying to this email or call me at 703-583-9274. My Wash My Deck crews are nasty gram busters, as they pride themselves in the amount of dirt and filth they collect on their clothes and body each and every day. They know the dirtier they get, the cleaner your deck and home are!
