Deck & Fence Cleaning

Why Deck and Fence Cleaning is Needed

Before and after deck cleaning, sanding and sealing

Long stretches of frequent rain followed by long stretches of intense UV exposure put both wood and fencing to the test. If not maintained, the deck and fencing material will slowly start to deteriorate and take years off its potential life. A deck and fence can require complete replacement in as few as 15 years if it is completely neglected and the damaging effects of the elements are allowed to take over. Additionally, our experience is that homeowners don’t use their decks as often if they are in poor condition. The aesthetic beauty of a well maintained deck is hard to beat and beckons you to come outside and enjoy yourself. Barbecuing, entertaining, reading, sunbathing and dining are just a few of the great activities to enjoy on your deck.

Fence cleaning will transform the appearance of curb appeal and a back yard

Restoring a weathered deck to its original beauty takes the experienced hands of a experienced washing technicians. Refinishing the wood takes several steps to get your deck looking its best. The project starts with cleaning the deck surface to remove mold, mildew, algae and dirt, along with any remaining layers of previously applied stain or seal. Depending on the type and amount of previous coatings will dictate how well the previous stains can be removed. Additional pressure washing cleaning or chemical stripping may be required to remove them. The next step after the deck has dried is sanding and sealing or staining.
